Kya is taking new clients.
Kya is a Master’s-level intern completing her clinical training through Bethel Seminary, following the completion of her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bethel University. She is passionate about supporting clients as they navigate a wide range of concerns, including, but not limited to, anxiety, OCD, depression, family and relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a Christian, she is happy to integrate faith into sessions when requested, while ensuring therapy remains personalized to each client's preferences and therapeutic goals.
Kya is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and thoughtfully adapts her approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, family, or couple, meeting clients where they are. She believes that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship and strives to create a collaborative, supportive environment. Her style is both warm and direct, fostering honest conversations while providing compassionate guidance throughout the therapeutic process.
Types of Therapy: Kya works with children ages 10+, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She offers both in-person sessions in Roseville and also video counseling to all of Minnesota.
Insurances Accepted: Under supervision, Kya accepts Aetna, Blue Plus, BlueCross and BlueShield, Cigna, HealthPartners, Medicaid, MinnesotaCare, Out of Pocket, PreferredOne, and UCare.
