Payment
Check, cash, or credit card payment for the agreed amount is due at each session. For those covered by insurance, payment for deductible or co-payment is due at each session.
Sliding fee scale is available to those without insurance, full-time students, those in full-time ministry, or based on financial need to ensure that therapy is accessible for all. If you would like to know the out of pocket cost for therapy, we can provide an estimate.
Minnesota Renewal Counseling and Consulting utilizes Stripe for credit card payment. We require a credit card to facilitate easier and more timely bill payments. You will receive an email receipt of the transaction for your records. If you have a question or concern about a charge on your account, including questions about a refund, please reach out to your therapist for help.
To ensure we can serve all clients effectively, we kindly request 24-48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments, which will help avoid a fee. Our no-show and late cancellation fees range from $65 to $150, depending on the service. Because we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, we occasionally make exceptions. However, we kindly request that you provide us with as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment. If you have questions regarding your therapist’s late cancel fee, we encourage you to speak with them directly.
