| Our Professional Staff Patrick Repp, MA, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, is Executive Director and founder of MRC. A former short-term missionary, he has counseled missionaries, ministers, church leaders and their families for over 25 years. Special interests: depression, anxiety, stress, addictive behaviors, and issues of transition and trauma. He is also trained in mediation/reconciliation and organizational/congregational systems analysis. Dr. Dan Rotach, DMin, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. A former pastor, his doctoral training specifically addressed the emotional needs of pastors and Christian workers. He is an adjunct professor at Bethel University and Bethel Seminary. He also serves as an interim pastor and helps churches through the ministry of mediation and reconciliation. Dr. Daniel Lambrides, MDiv, DMin, is a Pastoral Counselor and consultant for MRC. A former pastor, family therapist and executive/organizational consultant, he is involved widely in church and organizational counseling and seminar presentations. His doctoral training background is in family systems and family therapy. He also has interest in the confluence of spiritual and sexual issues. He is co-author of Healing Relationships: A Manual for Lay Counselors. Sharon Mason, MA, Licensed Psychologist, provides counseling and assessment to adults and adolescents. She is an adjunct professor at Bethel College. She also facilitates a brain tumor support group and does psychological assessment and intervention at United Hospital. Special interests: women’s issues depression, anxiety, health-related and life transition issues. She also has expertise in cognitive/personality assessment and interest in cross-cultural and ministry challenges.
Debbie Klaver, MA, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She served as a missionary teacher and chaplain in Cuenca, Ecuador from 1981 to 1989 with World Mission Prayer League. She received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School and has worked as a director of an in-home family therapy program for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral problems. Her special interests include individual, couple & family therapy, child & adolescent therapy, play therapy, anxiety, depression, conflict resolution and missionary/ministry stressors. She is also provides therapy to Spanish speakers.
Dr. Kurt Wical, PhD, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, brings to his practice of individual, marriage, and family therapy extensive training in how to work out the difficulties in relationships, including marriage and parenting issues. A significant foundation for his work is his training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. He also has had over nine years of experience in mission work, both as a child of missionaries and as an adult missionary, and experience in pastoral/congregational leadership.
Mary Droullard, MA, is a Licensed Psychological Practitioner, Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist. Her experience includes a background in nursing and many years of missionary work in Pakistan. She counsels individuals, couples, and families. Her therapy interests include health issues, healthy sexuality, sexual betrayal, relationship issues, depression & anxiety, cross-cultural adjustment, debriefing and missionary assessment and care. Judy Rotach, M.A.,LPC, received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has training and experience working with adolescents in the public school system and in day treatment for mental health issues. She has also worked as an in-home therapist providing services for families of children and adolescents struggling with mental health issues. As a result of a lifetime of experiences as a pastor’s kid and the spouse of a minister, Judy possesses a passion for couples and families involved in ministry. She has co-facilitated pre-marital and currently married workshops for couples with her husband, Dan, since 2001. Other areas of interest are neuropsychology, working with adolescents and families on parenting/relational issues, depression, and grief/loss issues. Johnben Loy, MBA, MTS, PhD (cand), is a doctoral intern completing his PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Minnesota. He has worked with individuals, couples, and families in clinical settings since 2000. Johnben specializes in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Prepare/Enrich marital and pre-marital assessment, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) for trauma-related complications, and male sexual compulsivity or addiction. Johnben has over fifteen years of ministry and business leadership experience and education, and is keen on helping ministry and business leaders work through marriage and family issues. Our Associate Professional Staff Dr. John P. Lundgren, MD, is a Family Practice Physician in Shoreview, MN, and medical director for the missionaries of the Baptist General Conference. Janell Repp, BA, is a Licensed Social Worker who joins with her husband, Patrick, in marriage enrichment leadership. She is also involved in the ministry of prayer and spiritual healing and participates in the prayer ministry of MRC. Dr. Peter Jankowski, Ph.D., is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. He is a professor of Psychology at Bethel University. He is also a Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy and Board of Marriage and Family Therapy approved supervisor. He has particular interests in narrative ideas, supervision, and the integration of spirituality and therapy.
Marnie Parrish-Siggelkow
is a Certified Spiritual Director. Marnie
studied art at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota
and later received a B.A. in Organizational Studies. She
received her training and certification in Spiritual
Direction from Christos Center for Spiritual Formation
in St. Paul, MN. Marnie and her husband, Roger, have
served on the pastoral staff of four different churches,
including a house church. As a spiritual director, her
desire is to provide a safe place to wait with others as
they continue to discover the unique song God has given
them to sing. She provides spiritual direction in
Cannon Falls, MN, and at Minnesota Renewal Center.
Jane McCampbell, MA, LAMFT received her Masters in
Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary and
works with individuals, couples and families. Her
therapeutic interests include past physical and
sexual abuse, spiritual abuse, relational and sexual
issues, bereavement, anxiety and the unique
stressors related to immigration and cultural
differences. She is also training in EMDR – an
empirically researched treatment for those
struggling with traumatic memories or the current
triggers of previous trauma, and is able to offer
this service as part of her therapy.
