Trisha has special interest in helping military families and has been working with them in a professional setting since 2003. She has been an instructor for “Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” reintegration events and has also been a speaker for various military venues including Family Readiness Groups, Family Assistance Center Staff Training, Family Day weekends and Officer’s Christian Fellowship. As a military wife herself, she is passionate about serving military families and helping other professionals to assist and understand this unique population. She is also certified in PREPARE/ENRICH and has been performing premarital counseling for over five years. Trisha is trained in play therapy and works with children as young as three. Art, sand tray and puppets are some of the alternative media she utilizes with children and families.  She has received intensive training in sand tray and enjoys utilizing it with teens and adults as an enhancement to talk therapy.
