Sharon provides counseling and assessment to adults (couples and individuals) and adolescents.  Areas of special interest and focus include depression, anxiety, health-related challenges, life transition issues,  spirituality, and cross-cultural and ministry challenges.  She has expertise in cognitive and personality assessment. At MRC she has co-developed an intensive counseling program for couples, and also participates in missionary assessment.

Sharon also works as a psychologist at the Minnesota Epilepsy Group in St. Paul.  She is an adjunct faculty at Bethel University teaching psychology courses in undergraduate and graduate programs.

Sharon works with adults and adolescents in an individual, couple or group format.

Insurance:
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medica. Other insurance companies may provide coverage on an out-of-network basis.

Standard rates for private pay:
Standard rate: $175 for initial session, $130 for subsequent 50-minute therapy sessions.

Payment arrangements:
Payment for deductible or co-payment is due at each session.

Appointment availability:
Daytime hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays with some evening and Saturday hours available.
