Jeffrey S. Berryhill, PhD, LP
Jeff's 19 years of clinical practice in northern Virginia included  consultation in hospitals and  an adolescent group home as well as doing primarily outpatient counseling and psychological testing.  He co-founded Cornerstone Family Counseling, P.C., in Fairfax Virginia in 1993 and was a co-director and clinician there until he relocated to Minnesota in the summer of 2010.  In addition to his work here at Minnesota Renewal Center, Jeff serves as an ajunct professor in the graduate counseling program at Bethel University.

Types of therapy:
Jeff provides individual counseling with adults, adolescents and children, as well as couple and family counseling.

Areas of special interest/specialization:
Jeff works extensively with depression, anxiety problems including obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD, and various other emotional and behavioral disorders. He conducts psychological assessments with older children, adolescents and adults.  He also does assessments for persons seeking to adopt children internationally.  He has provided consultation with schools and with churches and conducts seminars and workshops on parenting, relationships, various emotional concerns, ethical issues in counseling, and collaboration between clergy and therapists. Jeff brings a Christian perspective to his counseling and other professional work.

Blue Cross Blue Shield, Preferred One, United Behavioral Health (Medica Health Plans), HealthPartners (second tier).  Other insurance companies may provide coverage on an out-of-network basis including Tricare.  Call if you have any questions about insurance.

Dr. Jeff Berryhill holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fuller Seminary's Graduate School of Psychology. He completed a master’s degree at Stephen F. Austin State University, and a B.A. at Baylor University, both in psychology. He also received a master’s degree in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.
